Tried to order ring shanked nails for siding. First box arrived had spiral nails but was marked ring shank. Amazon was quick enough to get a new box, but alas it was not to be. Another box marked ring shank when opened was just as the first, another 1,000 more spiral nails. Bummer.
Customer Review: Collated Nails ARE Fragile
Believe it or not collated nails ARE fragile. When these arrived the outer box was fine but the inner box was broken open. More than half the clips were broken, many into small pieces of 3 or 4 nails. These things cost as much as a digital camera, an i-pod, or fine china and are nearly as delicate. They should pack them the same way, WITH CARE. I'm sure the nails will work but I'm in for alot of reloading and jamming I'm sure.

Customer Review: good price on nails packaging poor
Thank God the 25lb nails come from Bostitch in a secure box or they would have ended up all over a UPS truck. Compact OEM box was put into a box large enough to hold 6 boxes, the space filled with packing paper! This outer box was busted up pretty bad, horribly off center, worst pack job I've ever seen. Why not just put the mailing address on Bostitch's box???!!! Luckily the nails survived intact. Some of the rows needed to be bent straight to load into gun, but this is no big deal. One nice thing is these nails snap off fairly easily in case you screw up. They will not come out easily, but whacking side to side a few times gets good results.

Order in boxes of 500,order 2- 500 per box and get the freight paid. larger amounts are availble for contractors. Of coarse the more you buy the better the price.My son just got threw using my framing nailer and used almost 1,000 nails and told me it did,nt miss a single nail,except when it was time to reload.

A simple product, well made, well engineered - shipped miserably. When the paper tape is broken up, you end up loading 1/2 rows. Still, they worked fine. I do wish they would just securely tape the box - all sides, even the bottom, then UPS cannot break into a brick. Placing it in a larger box with popped plastic bags was silly.

When I ordered this product I never expected these nails to just thrown into a box loose!! I've been a contractor for 35 years and have been buying these nails which are designed to fit into a nail gun for almost as long. In the past they have always come stacked neatly in a box due to the fact that they have to fit into a narrow slot in a pneumatic nail gun. This order came to me like someone had "THROWN" a broken box of nails into another box and "CALLED IT GOOD"!! NOW I LITERALLY HAVE TO STOP AND STRAIGHTEN OUT EVERY BLOCK OF NAILS BEFOR I CAN LOAD THEM INTO MY GUN!! NEVER AGAIN
